People’s Bank ‘Jaya Sri 2012’ grand draw winners chosen

People’s Bank ‘Jaya Sri 2012, the year-end grand draw and monthly draw for December was carried out recently at the People’s Bank Staff Training College auditorium under the patronage of Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar.

As part of the grand draw, winners were chosen and awarded three brand new Honda Civic cars. In addition, for the monthly draw for December 2012, the winner of the first prize was awarded a Micro Panda car or a TAFFE tractor respectively. Subsequently, winners of the second prize were presented with 48 24-inch LED TVs and as consolation prizes, 1,020 mixer grinders were given away.

The People’s Bank ‘Jaya Sri 2012’ scheme was carried out in two segments, which were the monthly draw and the grand draw. In order to be eligible for the monthly draw, one should maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 10,000 in any savings (other than minor) or current account of People’s Bank for a period of one month. In addition, to be eligible for the grand draw, one should have maintained a minimum balance of Rs. 50,000 as at 31 December 2012.

The corporate and executive management of People’s Bank were also present at the event.
