People’s Bank ‘Rata Salli Wasana’ June winner from Mawathagama

The ‘Rata Salli Wasana’ monthly draw which was carried out by the Overseas Customer Services unit of People’s Bank for the benefit of those who work abroad produced its final monthly draw winner for the month of June. The first prize of the monthly draw which was a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 was won by W.B.G. Nandani Kusum Manike, an account holder at the Mawathagama branch. On behalf of Kusum Manike, the prize was claimed by her father W.B.G. Kiribanda.

Speaking about his daughter’s win, Kiribanda said, “We are very happy about our daughter winning this draw. She went to Kuwait two years ago, prior to which she worked abroad for about six years. Since then our whole family has been carrying out our banking activities with People’s Bank. For those who work out of the country while experiencing many hardships, People’s Bank’s ‘Rata Salli Wasana’ draw provides much strength. I would like to recommend everyone to use the safe, fast and secure facilities of People’s Bank.” The draw also saw 25 winners of valuable mobile phones won by those who received foreign remittances through People’s e-remittance, swift or telex via People’s Bank during the month of June. People’s Bank’s ‘Rata Salli Wasana’ draw is held on a monthly basis. The final draw of ‘Rata Salli Wasana’ offers Rs. 1 million as the first prize, Rs. 500,000 as the second prize and Rs. 250,000 as the third prize. All those who received foreign remittances in any one method mentioned above via People’s Bank would be eligible to win prizes of the final grand draw of ‘Ratta Salli Wasana’.
