People’s Bank relocates Batapola Branch to new premises

People’s Bank ceremoniously opened its relocated Batapola Branch premises at a special ceremony held recently. The new and modern branch was inaugurated by N. Vasantha Kumar, CEO/General Manager of People’s Bank, at an auspicious time, in the midst of a large gathering.

The new Batapola Branch offers state-of-the-art modern banking facilities, enabling efficient and professional financial services for the benefit of their customers. Residents of the area can now conduct all their banking needs including varied loan facilities and pawn broking services.

Present on this special occasion were several officials of Peoples’ Bank including K. B. Rajapakse, Deputy General Manager (Commercial Credit and SME), Boniface Silva, Deputy General Manager (Branch Operations), K. D. J. Perera, Assistant General Manager, Southern Zone, T.M.D. Chandrakumara, Galle Regional Manager, I.K. Indika, Assistant Regional Manager, Nanda Guruge, Assistant Regional Manageress and Ganga Jinadasa, Branch Manageress. People’s Bank staff, as well as a large gathering of bank customers and well-wishers from the area also participated in the program.
