People’s Bank staff welcomes 2012 by taking service oath

The staff of People’s Bank commenced operations in the New Year by taking the service oath. In commemorating this occasion, a special celebration was held on 2 January under the patronage of People’s Bank Chairman W. Karunajeewa and Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar at the Head Office of People’s Bank.

At this event, the entire staff took the People’s Bank service oath under the patronage of Kumar. A special speech was delivered to the staff members by Karunajeewa.

The event was graced by the corporate and executive management of People’s Bank, representatives of trade unions, representatives of religious organisations, representatives of other voluntary organisations and staff members.

Simultaneously, special ceremonies were organised at all People’s Bank branches and service centres island wide and their staff too took the service oath.
