People’s Bank unveils Business Centre in Ratnapura

People’s Bank declared open its latest Small and Medium Scale Business Centre at the Ratnapura Town Branch Building first floor recently, under the patronage of Chairman of People’s Bank Gamini S. Senarath.
Launched under the budget proposal of 2012, following the agenda of the ‘Mahinda Chinthana – Idiri Dekma,’ this new centre aims to uplift small and medium scale business sectors by providing them with adequate loan facilities for agriculture based products, livestock, apparel, fisheries, tourism, construction and a host of other business sectors..
The opening ceremony was attended by Chief Executive Officer/General Manager N. Vasantha Kumar and the corporate and executive management, bank staff and a large number of entrepreneurs.
