Pirith for Sri Lanka Insurance 55th anniversary

An all-night pirith chanting ceremony was organised at Sri Lanka Insurance recently as part of the religious observances to commemorate the organisation’s 55th anniversary and to invoke blessings on the SLI, its staff and customers and all Sri Lankans. Minister of Public Enterprise Development Kabir Hashim, Deputy Minister Eran Wickremaratne, Chairman Hemaka Amarasuriya and Managing Directors T.M.R. Bangsa Jayah and Aruna Siriwardhana were among those present. The pirith chanting was followed the next morning by an almsgiving for 55 Bhikkhus
