Public Bank picks Galle for first outstation branch

Public Bank Colombo recently opened its first outstation branch at No. 26 A, Kaluwella, Galle.
It was ceremonially opened by the Deputy Speaker of the House and Member of Parliament Chandima Weerakkody on 14 November. Public Bank Colombo opened its first branch in Nawala in 2012.
Public Bank Colombo Branch commenced its banking business in Sri Lanka in 1992. It is a fully-fledged licensed Commercial Bank supervised by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka providing banking services to corporate and retail customers.
The Public Bank in Malaysia was founded in 1966 and is known for its prudent management, strong profitability, stable leadership, strong asset quality, healthy capitalisation and service excellence.
