Ravi Dias joins Senkadagala Finance Board

Senior banker Ravi Dias has joined the Board of Senkadagala Finance Plc as an Independent Non Executive Director from 15 August. Ravi served Commercial Bank for four decades and retired recently. He was recently appointed to the Board of Carson Cumberbatch Plc.

Ravi holds a Degree in Law and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (UK). He is also a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow. He is an Alumnus of INSEAD Business School – France, having attended the Advanced Management Program in Fontainebleau. He is also a Committee member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and chairs the Banking, Finance and Capital Markets Steering Committee, a sub-committee of the Chamber. He also served on the Board of Directors of Commercial Development Company Plc, Lanka Clear Ltd., Lanka Financial Services Bureau Ltd and was a Council Member of the Employers’ Federation of Ceylon. Following the latest appointment the Board of Directors of Senkadagala Finance Plc comprises of P. Ramanujam (Interim Chairman), L. Balasuriya (Managing Director/CEO), A. Balasuriya, L. Fernando, W.A.T. Fernando, S.S. Kulatunga, S.D. Bandaranayake, D.T.P. Collure and W.M.R.S. Dias.
