Rusi new Chairman of Abans Finance

Rusi Pestonjee has been appointed as the new Non Executive Chairman of Abans Finance Plc.

This follows the retirement of Aban Pestonjee in conformity with Central Bank directions on good corporate governance to finance companies wherein directors who are over 70 years of age having to retire.

Apart from Aban Pestonjee, S. Sothivadivel, a Non Executive Director, has also retired.

Financial services industry senior Mrs. Mano Alles is the Managing Director at Abans Finance Plc.

Rusi is a leader in Abans Group in the accounting and financial areas with his treasury management skills having largely come into use in the establishment of the Abans Financial Services Division, which was set up initially to help finance the Abans Ltd customers.

His involvement also includes Abans Environment Services, adding to Abans’ reputation as a socially responsible organisation and AB Securitas.
