Sampath Bank named most innovative bank in Sri Lanka at LankaPay Technnovation Awards

Continuing to win accolades for its spirit of innovation, Sampath Bank was recognised as Sri Lanka’s ‘Most Innovative Bank’ at the LankaPayTechnnovation Awards 2017 held on 20 June 2017.

The award is yet another testament to the Bank’s contributions to the development of the nation’s financial services industry through its 30 year colourful journey. Right from its inception, Sampath Bank has actively leveraged emerging technologies to be the first to introduce several innovative financial solutions to the market, positively transforming Sri Lanka’s banking landscape.

Organised by LankaClear, the LankaPayTechnnovation Awards 2017 honoured banks and non-banking financial institutions for their commitment and excellence in using innovative technology to promote digital transactions in Sri Lanka.
