Sampath Bank welcomes New Year with religious ceremonies

The management and staff of Sampath Bank welcomed the New Year with religious ceremonies conducted last morning at the Gangaramaya Temple.

Religious ceremony conducted to commemorate the start of 2015 The occasion was attended by staff and senior management of Sampath Bank, including Managing Director Aravinda Perera. The religious observances for the day included a ‘Budda Pooja’ and ‘Seth Pirith’ to invoke blessings on the entire nation, prior to commencing business for the year. Thereafter, a special ceremony was held at the Sampath Bank headquarters in Colombo 2, where Perera wished the staff the best for the newly-dawned year. While acknowledging their invaluable contribution to the success of last year, he encouraged the team to achieve greater heights in the upcoming year through continued teamwork and exceptional customer service. Similar ceremonies were held at all Sampath Bank branches across the island, where special arrangements were made to concurrently broadcast the Managing Director’s New Year message to the respective staff members.
