SDB Awards Night 2014

SANASA Development Bank PLC (SDB) held its annual Awards Night at the Hotel Grand Monarch on 25 April with the participation of SDB Chairperson Samadani Kiriwandeniya, directors and senior management of SDB. Branches were awarded cash prizes, awards and certificates in line with their achievements.

SDB recorded an outstanding performance for the financial year ending December 2014, with a 103% increase in their profitability for the year on top of a 450% increase in profits after tax in the last quarter, as against the corresponding period in 2013. With these growth rates, SDB recorded a profit after tax of Rs. 504 million during 2014.

The right direction of the board of directors, management and the hard work of employees is the main reason for the above achievement and they were highly treasured at the awards ceremony.
