SDB bank participates in Vyawasaya 2017

SANASA Development Bank (SDB bank) participated in the third day of the Vyawasaya 2017 exhibition and trade fair, which was held from 31 March-2 April at the BMICH. 

Vyawasaya 2017 is organised by the SED Division of the Ministry of National Policies and Economic Affairs. 

The third day of the exhibition and trade fair was ceremonially opened by SDB bank Chairperson Samadanie Kiriwandeniya. The distinguished guests who attended the ceremonial opening on the third day were SED (Small Enterprise Development) Division Director Sudeera Jayarathne and SDB bank Western Province Regional Manager Lasantha Edirisooriya. 

Visitors to the event had the opportunity to learn about SDB bank’s products and services and benefitted from understanding how the bank was supporting SME development in the country. 

In addition, participants were informed about the loan products which SDB has developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce for SME purposes. SDB bank also offers suggestions for savings for Small and Medium Entrepreneurs.  People who visited the exhibition also had the chance to buy handicrafts, textiles, ayurvedic products, leather products, renewable energy products, traditional processed food items and lot more a SME-related products.  The exhibition is turning out to be the largest trade fair in Sri Lanka for Small and Medium Entrepreneurs with the presence of more than 100 stalls from all around the island.
