SDB Kalmunai branch shifts to new location

The relocated Kalmunai branch was ceremonially opened by SDB bank General Manager/

​The Kalmunai branch of SANASA Development Bank Plc (SDB) relocated to its new premises on 20 February.

The SDB Kalmunai branch was shifted to No. 202, Batticaloa Road, Main Street, Kalmunai with the objective of providing a more efficient and friendly service to its customers with more sophisticated facilities. 

SDB is a publicly quoted company with limited liability incorporated under the Companies Act No. 17 of 1982 and re-registered under Companies Act No.07 of 2007 and registered as a licensed specialised bank by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka under the Banking Act No. 30 of 1988. It operates 89 branches spread all over the country.

SDB bank has been able to introduce a variety of banking products and services covering all customers, from newborn babies to all categories of senior citizens. Those products and services come under the different brand names of SDB Dayada, Lakdaru Children’s Savings, Jawaya, Uththamavee, Upahara, Dashaka, SDB Aayojana, Swarnakirana, SDB Leasing, SME Plus, etc. introduced for the convenience of the bank’s customers.

Nishantha Kumara is the Manager of the Kalmunai branch, which has been serving the area for nearly 10 years.

The relocated Kalmunai branch was ceremonially opened with the participation of several prestigious invitees including Nimal C. Hapuarachchi - General Manager/Chief Executive Officer SDB bank, M.H.M. Kanee - Divisional Secretary (Muslim Division) – Kalmunai, W.D.K.R. Ranjith – Deputy General Manager of SDB Bank and K.B. Rathnayaka - SDB bank Regional Manager, Uva region and part of the Eastern region as well as all managers of the Uva and Eastern regions.
