SDB opens 85th branch in Dehiwala

SANASA Development Bank Plc (SDB) opened its new branch in Dehiwala on 16 September.

SDB’s Dehiwala branch was opened at No. 107 A, Galle Road, Dehiwala with the objective of providing more efficient and friendly service to its customers with more sophisticated facilities. 

SANASA Development Bank is a publicly-quoted company with limited liability incorporated under the Companies Act 17 of 1982 and re-registered under Companies Act No. 07 of 2007 and registered as a licensed specialised bank by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka under the Banking Act No. 30 of 1988, operates with a branch network of 83 branches all over the country. 

SDB has introduced a variety of banking products and services with a vast coverage of customers, from newborn babies to all categories of senior citizens. Those products and services come under the different brand names of ‘LakDaru’ Children’s Savings, ‘Jawaya’,  ‘Uththamavee’, ‘Upahara’, ‘Dashaka’, ‘SDB Aayojana’, ‘Swarnakirana’, ‘Ranmini’ Pawning Services, SDB Leasing,  SME Plus, etc,  introduced for the convenience of the bank’s customers..

Dehiwala branch was ceremonially opened by Samadanie Kiriwandeniya, Chairperson of SDB with the participation of Nimal C. Hapuarachchi, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager of SDB, Dinesh Indika Balasooriya, Manager of the Dehiwala branch and a few other top management officers from SDB. Members of the Dehiwala trade association and public and private sector organisations were also represented. 

SDB Dehiwala is led by Dinesh Indika Balasooriya.
