SDBL sponsors The Big Issue Forum on Sri Lanka’s ageing population

The Big Issue Forum sponsored by SANASA Development Bank is an effort to start a cross disciplinary discourse on issues of national importance. With SDBL Actively involved in extending solutions to development issues especially in rural Communities, and the Big Issue Magazine serving as medium to raise public awareness, the forum represents a strategic partnership aimed at common purpose of serving the interest of Sri Lanka.

Speakers at this inaugural event include Dr. Nisha Arunatileke, Head –Labour, Employment and Human Resource Development Policy Unit of Institute of Policy Studies of Sri Lanka, SANASA Development Bank Deputy Chairperson Samadani Kiriwandeniya and Indrajit Coomaraswamy, former Director – Economic Affairs, Commonwealth Secretariat. The participation included distinguished experts who are at the frontline of national policy development, media personnel as well as leaders from the business community.  The outcome of forum will lead to an enhanced understading of the collective challenge that Sri Lanka is facing and facilitate the development of solutions, at all levels. Nimal .J.B. Mamaduwa who was a special guest is also present.
