September winners of People’s Bank Ethera Isura NRFC Grand Draw chosen

People’s Bank has provided foreign employees with a variety of benefits under the NRFC Grand Draw scheme. Winners for the month of September were chosen recently at the Head Office of People’s Bank.

A total number of five winners were chosen and they were each awarded a sum of Rs. 25,000. The winners were A. Stanislos of the Batticaloa Branch, J.A.S.U. Gunawardena of the Peradeniya Branch, S. Jayanthi of the Kalmunai Branch, S.A. Tudor of the Hanwella Branch and M.S.A.N. Riszan of the Overseas Customer Unit.

To be eligible for the monthly draw, a minimum balance of US$ 250 or its equivalent in foreign currency should be maintained in an Ethera Isura NRFC account during any month from 1 March to 31 December 2012. At the monthly draw, five winners are chosen and are each awarded a sum of Rs. 25,000.

To be eligible for the year end grand draw, a minimum balance of US$ 250 or equivalent in foreign currency should be maintained in an Ethera Isura NRFC Account during any month from 1 July to 31 December 2012.

As the first prize, a sum of Rs. 1 million will be awarded and 10 prizes each worth Rs. 100,000 and 15 prizes each worth Rs. 50,000 will be gifted at the draw.

A special feature of this draw is that additional chances can be obtained in instances where the balance maintained exceeds US$ 250 or equivalent in the period specified.
