The Seylan Bank 2011 Annual Report (‘North Bound’) was awarded a Gold and Bronze at the recently concluded ARC Awards. The prestigious Gold award was won for non-traditional Annual Reports in the Banking and Finance services: Asia/South Pacific Category, while the Bronze was awarded for its written text in that same category.
The Bank’s 2011 Annual Report also claimed a Silver Award at the LACP – Vision Awards in July this year.
The Silver Award was won under the Banks – Commercial Category. Both the ARC & LACP Vision Awards are the top 2 Global Awards Scheme for Annual Reports, attracting around 2,000 to 5,000 entries from across the world.
In the recent past, Seylan Bank’s Annual Reports (2009 – The Case Study, 2010 – The Business Case and 2011 – North Bound) have taken a unique identity of their own amongst readers, for its hardcover, size and story form reporting.
The international Gold, Silver and Bronze awards won this year (‘2011 North Bound’) is strong testament and recognition for the bank’s commitment towards responsible reporting to its stakeholders.
