Seylan Bank celebrates the ‘Aluth Avuruddha’ with winning chances for young and old

Seylan Bank celebrates the forthcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year with an exciting promotion and an abundance of gifts on offer to its thousands of customers and non-customers spread across the country.



In keeping with the age-old spirit of ‘ganu-denu,’ all Sri Lankans, both young and old,  are invited to deposit in the ‘Seylan Avurudhu  Thanpathu’ and ‘Seylan Tikiri Plus’ schemes  between 2 and 30 April, entitling them to  multiple chances of winning from an array of exciting prizes on offer.

Seylan Avurudu Thanpathu is a specially designed 12 month term deposit scheme and an ideal savings mechanism this forthcoming festive season. Every deposit of Rs. 25,000 or more brings with it a gift of an electric blender equipped with an advanced copper motor for superior performance.

In addition to the valued blender, every Rs. 5000 deposited in a Seylan Avurudu Thanpathu term deposit, will also entitle depositors to two  chances of participating in the Thagi Pita  Thagi draw for the month of April, which is to be conducted in May 2012.

Furthermore, every Rs. 5000 or more deposited into a Tikiri Plus account wins its depositor a gift of a Walkie Talkie. Similarly a Game Pad set is on offer to all Tikiri Plus account customers who deposit Rs. 20,000 or above. Furthermore, every customer who deposits Rs. 25,000 in a Tikiri Plus account will be entitled to both gifts.
