Being in the forefront of social and digital media in Sri Lanka, Seylan Bank has always given their customers the most novel and innovative user experience in terms of the most trending social and digital media concepts.
Having launched the Tikiri game app to provide an innovative experience to their minor savers the bank continues to reward fans though the social and digital media channels.
The recently concluded ‘Santa’s Bag’ competition was one such experience where the fans had to guess out of four given options what was in Santa’s bag. This attracted a large number of likes, shares and comments on the Seylan Facebook page. Two winners were selected and were rewarded the exact gift that was there in Santa’s bag. The outcome of this was the Christmas cheer the channel spread throughout the month by posting content relevant to the season. ‘Decode and Win’ was another novel concept introduced by the bank, where the fans had to decode a message using a decoding log and three lucky winners were rewarded with the gift mentioned in the message, which was a Tikiri Video Game.. ‘Guessing the Bag’ in which the Seylan Tikiri pass book was hidden was another mini engaging effort by the Seylan Facebook page where a winner was rewarded with a bag courtesy Seylan Bank.
