Seylan Bank commenced operations in Narammala, Mahiyanganaya, Ambalantota, and Monaragala, bringing the residential and the business community of the area the values of ‘A Bond Beyond Trust’, ‘Convenience Beyond Innovation’, ‘Care Beyond Service’ and ‘Commitment Beyond a Transaction’, from the ‘Bank with a Heart’ which delivers a value ‘Beyond Just Banking’ on the same day.
The new branches are located at No.150, Kurunegala Road, Narammala, No.13, Kandy Road – South, Mahiyanganaya, No.154, Tissa Road, Ambalantota and No.94/3, First Lane, New Bus Stop, Monaragala, and have all the ultra modern banking facilities and conveniences. They are also open on weekends (Saturday or Sunday) to serve its loyal customers better.
The Narammala Branch was ceremonially opened by Seylan Bank Chairman Mohan Pieris, PC. Executive Director R. Nadarajah also graced the occasion. Pieris speaking at the ceremony said: “Seylan Bank is indeed happy to have the opportunity to serve the fast-developing Narammala area and Seylan staff would be committed towards providing an exceptional service to its customers in fulfilling their banking requirements. The Mahiyanganaya branch was declared open by Kapila Ariyaratne – General Manager/Chief Executive Officer, along with D.M. Sunil – Chairman, Pradeshiya Sabha – Mahiyanganaya. Sunil De Silva – Senior Deputy General Manager Recoveries opened the Ambalantota branch, while Delvin Pereira – Deputy General Manager Zone I opened the Monaragala Branch.
The senior management of Seylan Bank, customers, and other distinguished invitees also graced the occasions.
