Softlogic Finance celebrates Customer Service Week

Softlogic Finance PLC celebrated International Customer Service week with a host of meaningful initiatives all aimed at enhancing service to their valuable customers. International Customer Service week that is celebrated from 7 to 11 October saw customer relationships being brought to the forefront, literally, as all senior management members of the company volunteered to serve customers at the counters of 17 branch offices, located throughout the country. Their task was to interact closely with customers and learn firsthand of the concerns and issues that customers encounter, so that appropriate measures could be taken to promptly address customer satisfaction. The team at Softlogic Finance felt that this was paramount during this period when customer confidence in the sector has waned due to issues that have been in the news recently. It was extremely satisfying for the senior management team of the company to meet their customers at their respective branch locations and discuss recent developments and provide advice on how investments should be made. This event also served to help boost morale amongst employees at branches, increase their motivation and enhance teamwork. Softlogic Finance has consistently endeavoured to enhance customer convenience and is probably the only Non Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) where customers can withdraw their deposits at their respective branch in cash, similar to any banking transaction. This convenience is also available for pre-mature withdrawals that customers may need to carry out due to an emergency or urgent requirement. Softlogic Finance PLC Director/Chief Executive Officer Nalin Wijekoon said: “Our goal is to ensure that our customers are well attended to, that their needs and aspirations are met to their satisfaction, so that they in turn could continue with other day to day priorities and develop their livelihoods within their spheres. We have used the Customer Service Week to showcase our continued commitment to customer service which is the bedrock of a strong customer relationship.”
