Sri Lanka Insurance has once again declared a life bonus of Rs. 4.7 billion for the year 2015 surpassing its own record of Rs. 4.4 billion declared the year before. Sri Lanka Insurance has declared Rs. 30 billion in total as Life Insurance Bonuses since 2006. This is ample evidence of its commitment to providing the highest returns while protecting its policyholders through wise investment management.
Explaining how the company continuously achieves this success, Sri Lanka Insurance Chairman Hemaka Amarasuriya said, “The company is managed with a clear strategy and a vision to become the trusted insurer to the nation whilst providing best value to our customers. This was demonstrated by declaring the unmatchable highest ever bonus in the local insurance industry year on year totalling to Rs. 30 billion for the last 10 years. Conscious, informed and timely decisions were made on opportunities that evolved in the capital market, boosting investment income to achieve exceptionally high-level. As a result SLI life fund, largest in the industry, recorded a mammoth growth in investment income enabling us to achieve this landmark.”
