Sri Lanka Insurance takes premium payments mobile with Dialog eZ Cash

Sri Lanka Insurance, the country’s insurance giant, tied up with Dialog’s eZ Cash payment network, to provide greater convenience to the company’s life insurance customer base, when making their premium payments. Dialog eZ Cash – is an advanced technology that enables technology that enables premium payments to be made via mobile money at any of the 14,000 plus eZ Cash merchants spread across the country and is accessible 24 x 7 around the Country. This state-of-the-art mobile money technology enables mobile subscribers to maintain a mobile money account in their mobile phone and using their eZ Cash mobile money account, customers can send and receive money to/from more than 7.8 million Dialog mobile users to make premium payments direct from their mobile phone. Speaking at the occasion Chairman Sri Lanka Insurance Upali  Dharmadasa said: “The tie- up with Dialog eZ Cash is a timely and apt partnership in the present context where communication is speeding ahead searching for avenues of customer convenience within all spheres of the business world and  SLIC’s clientele will be able to experience this modern easy payment mode which will enable them to make timely premium payments to secure their polices and ensure that the policies are in force at a time of need” “eZ Cash is privileged to partner with SLIC in extending the convenience of mobile based premium settlements to Sri Lankans from across all parts of the country,” said Dr. Hans Wijayasuriya commenting on the launch of the partnership between SLIC and the eZ Cash mobile payment service. “SLIC and Dialog share a common vision of delivering excellence in customer service through the leverage of modern technology, and I believe this partnership will define an advanced level of efficiency and convenience across the customer engagement value chain for insurance services,” he added. Sri Lanka Insurance, the largest government owned composite insurance provider in   Sri Lanka is the first insurance company to have been assigned a global rating for financial stability AA (lka) from Fitch Ratings, London which is an assurance of the company’s long term financial sustainability.  Sri Lanka Insurance is the only insurer who was awarded RAM Ratings AAA for its ‘long term claim paying ability’, which further affirms the corporation’s capacity to meet financial obligations to policyholders. The company has also been awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification for correct governing and operational procedures in line with accepted global standards which is further endorsed by the many international awards the company has claimed.
