Sri Lankan Lions made an impressive start in its first year as part of the AIA Group by becoming Regional “Serie A” Champions overcoming challenges from India, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
The results were received with jubilation across AIA Insurance Sri Lanka as the achievement demonstrates the country’s management skills and the competence of the sales personnel in achieving outstanding performance.
AIA Sri Lanka’s Chief Executive Officer Shah Rouf received the trophy from AIA Group CEO and President Mark Tucker at the AIA Leadership Conference 2013, in Hong Kong.
“AIA Champions League is an annual competition to encourage performance and business growth amongst the 17 AIA Group Countries. Thus being in the Top Three countries of the AIA Champions League along with the Philippines and Malaysia is a matter of pride for Sri Lanka, reflecting the quality and performance of AIA Sri Lanka Management and Distribution Team” said CEO Shah Rouf.
