‘Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2015’ will line up top bankers of the country along with key policy makers to discuss challenges and opportunities existing for local exporters to access export financing.
The topic ‘Challenges and Opportunities existing for Financing of Exports’ will be discussed and debated at the fourth session of the two day summit to be held at Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo during the month of August.
The keynote speech of the session will be delivered by Deputy Minister of Highways and Investment Promotion Eran Wickramaratne.
Seylan Bank CEO Kapila Ariyaratne, Standard Chartered Bank CEO Jim McCabe and National Human Resources Development Council Chairman and former Commercial Bank Chairman Dinesh Weerakkody will take part in the panel discussion.
Consultant/ Economist Anushka Wijesinha will moderate the panel discussion during the fourth session of the Sri Lanka Economic Summit 2015, which is organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and will be held on 4 and 5 August.
Sri Lanka considers export growth as a vital element in its growth strategy; however a multiple of issues including challenges in obtaining export financing support for exporters is hindering the increase in export growth.
