Standard Chartered’s Global Research Briefing in Colombo today

Standard Chartered’s Global Research Team will address an exclusive group of the bank’s clients and media personnel today as they present their views at a session entitled ‘Retreat, Regroup, Rebound’ as part of the bank’s Global Research Briefing 2016 tour. 

The program agenda includes sessions on the global economic outlook, the Asia and Sri Lanka outlook and global FX impacts. The global research team will also be meeting with key public sector stakeholders to garner insights into the Sri Lanka economy and global dynamics. The team includes key economic researchers Sarah Hewin, David Mann, Anubhuti Sahay Divya Devesh,

Standard Chartered’s client service agenda focuses not only on providing banking and financial services to its patrons but also provides the opportunity for clients to access industry related information on economic trends and market dynamics. The program today at the session in Colombo will include Sarah Hewin speaking on the ‘Global Economic Outlook – Retreat, Regroup, Rebound,’ David Mann on an ‘Asia Outlook – Looking inward for growth,’ Anubhuti Sahay presenting a ‘Sri Lanka Outlook – Twin deficits to remain large,’ and Divya Devesh commenting on the ‘Global FX Outlook – Glass half empty, or half full’. The session will be moderated by Dave Murray, Head, Global Research.
