Stefan appointed Acting CEO at Asia Capital

Stefan Abeyesinhe has been appointed as the Acting CEO of Asia Capital Plc with effect from 23 March.

He was previously Chief Operating Officer of the company, Chairman of which is Mano Nanayakkara.

Stefan also serves on the Boards of Asian Alliance Insurance, Asia Asset Finance Ltd., Asia Securities Ltd., Investor Access Asia Ltd., Asia Leisure Holdings Ltd., Asia Leisure Ltd., Asia Tea Packaging Ltd and Asia Wealth Management Company Ltd.

He pursued his higher studies in both the US and UK, after which he worked in financial markets in London.

On his return to Sri Lanka he worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Pradana Ltd., a boutique investment firm, prior to joining Asia Capital in June 2009.
