The Association of Professional Bankers, Sri Lanka Annual Convention 2015 in October

The 27th Anniversary Convention of the Association of Professional Bankers – Sri Lanka, will be held on 29 and 30 October at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.  The theme of the Convention is ‘Innovate to win’, which is a highly appropriate imperative for bankers as a source of sustainable competitive advantage.  

The inaugural ceremony will be held on 29 October evening, at the Grand Ballroom. The highlights of the event would be the keynote address, ‘Innovate to Win – Indian Experience’ by the Guest of Honour Dr. Jayendra Nayak, former Chairman and CEO, Axis Bank, India, Chairman, Union Bank of Colombo; presentation of the award ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Banking Industry’ and launching of the ‘APB Anniversary Volume 2015’. The technical sessions would be held on 30 October, under the following four sub-themes, addressed by eminent foreign and local speakers from the banking industry and the corporate world:

nInnovation – The Product Suite and the Service Offering 

nRegulation and Compliance

nDeveloping an Innovative Organisational Culture
