Top performing Janashakthi sales staff on Jetliner cruise

It was the treat of a lifetime as Janashakthi Insurance Plc recently treated 250 of its top sales performers to an open deck party and cruise aboard the Sri Lanka Navy’s ‘Jetliner’. They were all General and Life sales staff who were being recognised for their exceptional performance.

These top performers, both men and women came from all parts of the country including the North and the East and spent the evening partying under the stars. For many of them it was a first time experience aboard a cruise ship. The sense of happiness was tangible as they revelled on board. Cameras clicked as they sailed out of the Colombo Harbour, marveling at the changing Colombo skyline, beautifully lit up at night … in fact a sight not many get to enjoy.

Head of Marketing Paddy Weerasekera said that Janashakthi was happy to reward its top performing staff with experiences of this nature. “These getaways have, at all times, proved to be very successful motivational tools. It makes one massive difference to get away from the usual home and work environment and relax at a venue of this nature. The bonding that takes place here is great. With the senior management also in attendance, there was a great exchange of ideas in a general atmosphere of bonhomie.”

“Events of this nature are, in fact, in addition to our customary annual and mid-year awards. They make our sales staff feel part of one large family, which is what Janashakthi is really all about. In fact we’ve launched our Q1 2011 promotion whose top performers will be flown on an all expenses paid tour to Singapore and Malaysia in one trip,” he further added.

Janashakthi has, in previous years, treated its award winning sales staff with cruises and fully-paid holidays to many countries such as Singapore, UK, US, Bangkok, China, Dubai, Malaysia etc, in addition to many places in Sri Lanka too.
