Union Bank launches ‘Kalin Avurudu Ganudenu’ promotion

Union Bank announced that the bank has launched the ‘Kalin Avurudu Ganudenu’ promotion with the objective of providing customers the opportunity to take home a range of attractive gifts for the New Year by enabling them to save gradually in the coming months.

Spokesperson for the bank’s Marketing division stated that this promotion not only provides customers a range of attractive gifts, more importantly it allows the flexibility to save over a period of time and the gifts are offered for the balance collected up to April.

It also provides the flexibility to enjoy the gifts for the New Year as customers can take home their gifts from 1 April 2013 based on their account balances.

Gifts for savings account include: Rs. 10,000 an umbrella, Rs. 25,000 an iron, Rs. 50,000 a jug kettle, Rs. 100,000 a rice cooker, Rs. 250,000 a microwave, Rs. 500,000 a home theatre system, Rs. 1,000,000 a 24” LED TV.

It provides a range of branded household appliances, with a one year warranty from one of Sri Lanka’s leading electronics suppliers. A range of gifts are also on offer for the minor savings accounts. In addition customers will also receive a high rate of interest for their savings.

The promotion commences from 1 February and is valid up to 30 April 2013. It is applicable for both savings accounts and fixed deposits.
