Union Bank powers NCE Export Awards

Union Bank was the principal sponsor of the 20th annual awards ceremony of the National Chamber of Exporters held at the Colombo Hilton recently.

Further showcasing the bank’s unwavering pledge to empower the small and medium sector entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka, this is the fourth consecutive year and Union Bank was the principal sponsor of the ‘Export of Business and Professional Services Sector’, which recognises the excellence of service providers to exporters.

Silver award for the large category was won by AMBA Research Lanka Ltd., whilst the small category award was won by Lanka Hydraulic Institute Limited. Serendib Horticulture Technologies Ltd, Blue Water Systems International Ltd and Chandimal Entertainments won Bronze awards under small category of this sector.

Union Bank’s focus on the SME sector provides the bank an edge in a competitive market as a bank small enough to be flexible to the growing needs of SME customers and large enough to fuel their success to greater heights and offers a comprehensive product portfolio to support the growth of the sector.
