Union Bank supports NCE Awards winners

The National Chamber of Exporter (NCE) held its 19th Annual NCE Awards on 16th September 2011, recognising the excellence and unwavering efforts of entrepreneurs in taking Sri Lankan products and services to global markets.

As a preferred bank for SMEs, Union Bank of Colombo PLC (UBC), for the third consecutive year supported this important initiative as the Principal Sponsor for the Export of Business and Professional Services category. UBC felicitated the following organisations for their excellence:

Extra large category – Gold: Colombo Dockyard PLC

Medium category – Gold: Kapruka Dot Com Pvt Ltd., Silver – Colombo Engineering Enterprises.

Small Category – Merit awards: Chandimal Entertainments & Blue Water Systems Pvt Limited.

UBC Chief Operating Officer Nilanth De Silva handed over the awards to the winners in the presence of NCE Executive Director Rasa Weerasingham.
