WoW.lk partners with Sampath Bank for e-remittance services

www.wow.lk, Sri Lanka’s largest online retail store, announced a strategic partnership with Sampath Bank, as the exclusive e-remittance provider for international markets. The service is especially designed for expats to send gifts to their family and friends in Sri Lanka.
There is no longer the need to own an international credit card to shop online with this new venture between Sampath Bank e-remittance and WOW.lk. Shoppers are required to simply log on to www.wow.lk, select products and services and thereafter choose the payment option ‘Sampath e-remittance’. “This facility is yet another first to be introduced by us. Sampath e-remittance will offer Sri Lankans residing overseas the option of paying for the best of local products and services through a network of Sampath Bank agent companies in the Middle East and Europe. “Sri Lankan expats can thereby now benefit from the competitive prices, convenience and variety associated with buying online without the use of an international credit card,” commented Digital Commerce Lanka Ltd.
