Softlogic Restaurants Ltd., a fully-owned subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings PLC, once again takes pride in sharing with Sri Lankan food connoisseurs yet another delectable gastronomic experience, celebrated across the globe for its distinctive amalgamation of appearance, aroma and taste, with the upcoming opening of its very first Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen restaurant at Shangri-La’s One Galle Face Mall.

The opening of the Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen restaurant, which is one of the brand’s specialty casual dining restaurants, will offer an enticing spread of modern interpretations of Cantonese Chinese classics.

Its timeless favourites encompass a range of wok-fried delicacies, the popular Hong Kong rice porridge dish congee, a wide selection of Hong Kong noodles, delicious roast meats, and the world-renowned delicacy, dim sum. All of these are prepared according to Chinese tradition using ingredients imported from Singapore, thus preserving the brand’s specialised authenticity and flavour.

With a collective experience of 40 years dedicated to perfecting the culinary arts, Crystal Jade’s three international head chefs are geared to provide local diners with endless gastronomic delights. Enjoying a heritage of over 25 years, Crystal Jade has been well regarded for its commitment to quality. With a range of dining concepts under its belt, Crystal Jade is renowned for its offerings with respect to fine dining, casual dining and quick-service restaurants.  The restaurant in Sri Lanka will span a vast area of 3,838 sqft with the ability to seat 126 diners, both indoors and outdoors. Its state-of-the-art interior will represent Crystal Jade’s signature ambience and atmosphere, furnished with private dining rooms customisable to serve a variety of dining groups based on their size.

For the first time in Sri Lanka, diners can now experience authentic Chinese cuisine that stays true to its roots – a mouthwatering array of dishes that retain the superior taste and flavors that truly connect and blend perfectly with the Sri Lankan palate.

The launch marks the arrival of the first Crystal Jade restaurant in South Asia with a refreshed and revamped brand and outlook; and with a brand-new menu to tempt local diners. Originating from Singapore, Michelin-awarded culinary brand Crystal Jade is built on the principles of authentic Chinese cuisine, reimagining gastronomy in inspiring new ways and made accessible to a modern global audience.

Well-regarded for its premium delicacies and commitment to excellence, Crystal Jade enjoys a presence of over 100 outlets, sharing a wealth of flavour and taste with 30 major cities across the world which many well-travelled Sri Lankans would have experienced.

Dedicated to forging connections and nourishing generations, the restaurant is built on the foundation of inspiring and nurturing relationships through award-winning, unforgettable dining experiences. With an extensive repertoire that both preserves tradition and keeps in touch with the times, Crystal Jade continues in its mission to faithfully serve customers with sumptuous, authentic cuisine, in partnership with Softlogic Restaurants.

Stemming from the introduction in 2013 of Burger King; one of the largest hamburger chains in the world, to bringing down Baskin Robbins; the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops to managing Delifrance; an authentic French patisserie, Softlogic Restaurants has progressed to offer an entire gamut of culinary experiences to Sri Lankan consumers, undoubtedly contributing towards shaping the local palate over the years.

Softlogic Restaurants also recently made its maiden foray into the world of Asian cuisine with the launch of Wan Ge Di Ya – a restaurant offering diverse Asian food from eight Asian nations. With the opening of its fourth international franchise Crystal Jade, Softlogic Restaurants will continue to diversify its portfolio, with the promise of further delighting the taste buds of discerning Sri Lankan food enthusiasts across the island.

Softlogic Holdings PLC is one of Sri Lanka’s largest diversified conglomerates which holds leading market positions in growing economic sectors in retail, healthcare, ICT, automobiles, leisure and financial services.
