For the fifth consecutive year, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo will launch its Thai Food Festival to showcase the best of Thai cuisine, from 8 to 18 October. Priced at Rs. 2,950 nett per person, the 11-day food festival will feature a buffet spread featuring over 90 dishes.
Cinnamon Lakeside’s Thai Master Chef Bongkot Sabpong, will work with the team of specialised chefs from the Hotel’s signature Thai restaurant to create this culinary journey.
Traditional décor and music will add to the stunning ambience at the Royal Thai restaurant and terrace, overlooking the pool and Beira Lake. The festival will be on from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., where guests will have the opportunity to savour the delightful and authentic flavours of Thailand, including salads, appetisers, soups, mains and desserts, along with 20 live action stations.
An array of specialty dishes will also be available. These will include traditional Thai Papaya and Mango Salad, Tom Yam Seafood, Pad Thai Noodles with Chicken, Charcoal Fire Beef with Roasted Herb Rice, Five Spice Thai Marinated BBQ Pork Ribs, Spiced Honey Pork Knuckle, Wok Fried Cuttlefish with Chili Tamarind, Yellow Curry Crab, Mango Sticky Rice, Coconut Ice Cream, and Lychee Ice Cream with Sweet Condiments.
