From 17 to 22 November, food enthusiasts and lovers of fine Italian cuisine are invited to indulge in a rare gastronomic experience at the YUMI Patio and the Ports of Call at the Taj Samudra, Colombo where renowned Chef Alessandro Dentone will bring the exquisite flavours of Liguria to Colombo.

Chef Dentone, celebrated for his exceptional culinary skills and recognised by the Michelin Guide for over seven years, will curate a special menu showcasing the finest traditional and contemporary Ligurian dishes. His expertise in Ligurian gastronomy, a coastal region in northern Italy, is unparalleled, and this exclusive event promises to be a memorable exploration of Italy’s rich culinary heritage.

Lunch and dinner at YUMI Patio and Ports of Call of Taj Samudra will feature an à la carte menu, as well as a 3-course set menu – Rs. 6,000 plus taxes which includes an exclusive cooking session with Chef Dentone. This is a unique opportunity to learn first-hand from a Michelin-recognised chef. The cooking session will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (lunch) and 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (dinner).

For those seeking more indulgent experience, Chef Dentone will also present an International Dinner Buffet each evening at the Ports of Call, featuring an array of Ligurian-inspired delicacies. Priced at Rs. 8,200 nett per person and Rs. 4,350 nett per child, this lavish buffet will comprises of fresh seafood to handmade pastas, roasted meats, and rich Italian desserts.
