Five-star food fiesta begins at Pettah floating market

0103An international three-day food fiesta has begun at the Pettah floating market. 

The food fiesta is held according to a concept of the Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Faiszer Musthapha, in order to promote the floating market. The Ministry of Tourism, Urban Development Authority, and the Association for Tourist Hotel Owners also support to make this event a success. 

The general public will have the chance to enjoy five-star quality meals for an affordable price. Middle class community in Colombo can enjoy their weekends in this attractive place. There will be a lot of stalls such as for textile, ornaments, handcrafts and food.
