An extraordinary fusion of craftsmanship and flavour is set to unfold as Ropewalk takes over Lost in Translation, the Japanese bar at acclaimed Chef Dharshan Munidasa’s Nihonbashi Restaurant at Port City Colombo. This one-of-a-kind pop-up will take place on Saturday 1 February, creating a night of unparalleled indulgence for cocktails and culinary enthusiasts alike.
The pop-up will showcase Ropewalk’s three signature cocktails alongside Lost in Translation’s masterfully curated drink menu, accompanied by Nihonbashi’s renowned Japanese-inspired cuisine. Guests can look forward to a truly unique experience where artistry in mixology meets world-class dining.
The three Ropewalk cocktails served will include, Ropewalk (forty five day spice infused old cask arrack, sous vide ginger and lemongrass with fresh lime juice), Good Things Come to Those Who Wait (extra strong old arrack, lion stout reduction, balsamic shrub, bread and butter) and Non,Je Ne Regrette Riaan (tamarind, watermelon, and elderflower clarified milk punch, gin, homemade triple sec and zero-waste watermelon leather).
