Homelux valued business partners tour Butterfly India’s state-of-the-art factory

Homelux valued business partners and staff with Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances senior management 

Homelux Ltd.,a company under the Avarna Group,  previously known as the Rainco Group, sent 25 of their valued business partners on a tour of Butterfly India’s state-of-the-art factories recently. 

Homelux Ltd. has been in existence since 2014 and is the specialist supplier/distributor of world class kitchen and home accessories and equipment in Sri Lanka. Homelux prides itself on bringing the best products from the world over to ensure Sri Lankans use the best that suit the functional requirements of their homes.

Butterfly India is one of India’s leading kitchen appliance manufacturers with a history of 40 years. They are the manufacturers of their own range of gas cookers, pressure cookers, mixer grinders, wet grinders, flasks, cookware and other kitchen appliances. Butterfly was the first company in India to introduce stainless steel pressure cookers, stainless steel gas cookers and stainless steel vacuum flasks. They were also the first to acquire the ISO – 9001 Certificate for the manufacture of gas cookers and table top wet grinders. Currently Butterfly has over 2,600 employees and export their products apart from Sri Lanka, to the United States of America, Mauritius, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.

As an incentive to their Dealers, Homelux conducted a dealer promotion jointly with Butterfly India, whereby they were given a specific target to achieve within a set period; with those who achieved the target being sent on a trip to Chennai along with a factory visit to the Butterfly factories. 

The factory visit enabled the Sri Lankan dealers to first-hand view the superiority of Butterfly against other products in the market in terms of performance, durability, design, efficiency as well as additional features offered by them. 

The dealers were able to test the durability of Butterfly products for themselves, where a dealer who exceeded100kg in weight was able to stand on top of a glass topped Butterfly Gas Cooker.

Butterfly India went on to host an award ceremony in appreciation of the Homelux Dealers and the manner in which they have built up the Brand in Sri Lanka.

 “The hallmark of Butterfly products is its quality. Whatever we decide to manufacture, we ensure that we give our customers a quality product and that is the secret of our success,” said Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances Ltd. Managing Director V.M. Sheshadri.

Butterfly Gas cookers has won the award for the most efficient gas cooker in India for its ability to save over 69% gas compared to other products in the market. Butterfly has also won the first prize from the government of India for its gas cookers. 

 “Seeing is believing, which is why we want ourBusiness Partners to experience and then take their experiences to their respective countries regarding Butterfly’squality control and product superiority,” said Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances Executive Director Gangadharam. YaasirNizam, Cluster Director of Avarna Group in charge of the Homelux business gave the assurance that no sooner a product is introduced in India, it would simultaneously be available in Sri Lanka, backed by the same levelof aftersales services. 

Homelux General Manager Floyd Nesarajah assured their business partners that this was just the first of many such incentive visits where they would be rewarded for their achievements. “It is Homelux’ intention to take the Butterfly brand to even greater heights in Sri Lanka.”
