Nestlé Lanka recently launched its new product ‘Maggi Pazzta,’ a fresh way for consumers to cook tasty meals quickly.
Made with the wholesome goodness of semolina grains, which is high in fibre, Maggi Pazzta only requires cooking in hot water for five minutes for a delicious pasta meal in rich creamy cheese sauce.
The launch at the Independence Arcade showcased Colombo’s first ‘Pazzta Festival’ to encourage the younger generation to indulge in more home cooking in a convenient way as part of a balanced diet.
It was preceded by the ‘Be Cheesy’ teaser campaign which, was promoted on social media to whet public curiosity. The event was hosted by Danu Innasithamby.
“Maggi Pazzta is entering the market with a promise to convert even amateur cooks into veritable gourmet chefs. Maggi Pazzta seeks to help the new generation of men and women ‘taste the new language of love’ and drive home the idea that men too can cook,” said Nestle Food Vice President Priyadarshini Karunaratne.
However leveraging on the strong brand of Maggi, Maggi Pazzta joins the Maggi range to cater to millennial consumers, as well as broaden options to enjoy at different eating occasions.
Nestle Lanka Managing Director Shivani Hedge said: “We are delighted to give consumers healthy and quick cook Maggi Pazzta, which offers the wholesome goodness of healthy ingredients like semolina. Cooking and experimenting with ingredients has become a passion of millennials and we are confident that Maggi Pazzta will offer them the right blend of great taste and convenience.”
Nestle Lanka’s management committee offered the public a chance to meet members of the Maggi team and to taste delicious pasta dishes featuring variety range of seafood, chicken, and vegetable options using Maggi Pazzta.
