Norfolk Foods Ltd., a pioneer in frozen food manufacturing in Sri Lanka, participated at ANUGA 2023, one of the world’s largest and most important food and beverage trade fairs held in Cologne, Germany, recently, showcasing its latest new ‘Lean Mean Green’ (LMG) range with distinctive Sri Lankan flavours.
Exhibiting at ANUGA for the first time, Norfolk Foods displayed its latest innovative vegan LMG products to global buyers and distributors at its stall, with the product range aligning well with the exhibition’s key theme of ‘Sustainable Growth.’ Through extensive research and development, Norfolk Foods has created LMG’s unique range of plant-based foods using the finest, wholesome vegan ingredients available in Sri Lanka. The brand offers a novel platform to bring the country’s rich vegan cuisine to discerning consumers worldwide.
At the exhibition, Norfolk Foods demonstrated a wide variety, ranging from Polos Cutlets, Polos Burgers, Jackfruit Nuggets and a variety of delicious pancakes. By offering product samples, the company enabled potential partners to experience first-hand the superior taste and quality of the LMG range, accelerating LMG’s global expansion. Moreover, the sampling strategy also focuses on building new relationships and opening additional markets and retail channels worldwide.

LMG products are manufactured in Sri Lanka under strict quality standards without the use of artificial colours, flavours preservatives, or MSG. The Norfolk Foods state-of-the-art production facility is HALAL certified, HACCP approved, and ISO 22000 compliant, ensuring the highest levels of quality control and hygiene in producing LMG’s authentic range of food products.
Previously, LMG was launched in the UK at the International Food and Drink Exhibition 2023 in collaboration The FoodFellas of the CPF Group.
