Oriental Nights: A Pan-Asian experience at The Kingsbury, Colombo

This October, The Kingsbury Colombo’s famed Harbour Court invites you to a journey through the heart of Asia with an exclusive Pan-Asian culinary experience. 

From 16 to 25 October 2024, guests can enjoy a spectacular Pan-Asian dinner buffet from 6:30 p.m. onwards, with live music setting the perfect tone for an awe-inspiring evening. 

Pan-Asian cuisine is a culinary style that celebrates the diverse flavours and techniques of multiple Asian cultures. It encompasses dishes from countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, and Japan, each offering its own unique ingredients and cooking methods. The Kinsgbury’s “Oriental Nights” will showcase the best of these regions, promising to excite the palate and stir your senses. 

The buffet features a rich selection of appetisers including Chinese Seaweed Salad, Cold Tofu with Orange Ponzu, and Rojak. Diners can also savour delicacies like Chicken Satay, Dim Sum, and Crispy Kimchi Pancakes. The main courses offer diverse favourites such as Chilli Crab from Singapore, Beef Bulgogi from Korea, and Tempura Prawns from Japan, with a Thai Noodle Bar offering customisable noodle dishes. Desserts include the decadent Sticky Mango Pudding, Lychee and Almond Jelly, and Lemongrass Crème Brûlée, while a Full Asian Tea Station serves aromatic teas including Jasmine and Green Tea. Cocktails inspired by the featured countries will also add a unique twist to the dining experience.
