Platinum One Suites ushers in festive season with Christmas cake mixing

It’s not Christmas, but the intoxicating aroma of the Christmas cake mixing ceremony at Platinum One Suites ushered in good tidings and unveiled the spirit of the festive season.

Spreading the cheer along with the chefs, the ceremony invited the participation of corporate patrons, leaders of the hospitality industry, well-wishers, residents and in-house guests dressed in chef’s hats and aprons, and gloved to tackle on the mixing process.

An interesting array of fruits, including raisins, cherries, orange peel, dates, dried apricots, prunes and nuts, as well as spices such as ground cardamom, cinnamon and cloves were mixed together with a lot of cheering and camaraderie.

The mixing reached a spirited level when bottles of spirits and syrups were added. After the cake mixing, the mixture was put into airtight containers and left to mature until it’s time to be baked and enjoyed at Christmas.
