Ramada by Wyndham Colombo has announced two exciting lunch promotions in honour of India’s Independence Day. 

Indulge in the rich and diverse flavours of Indian cuisine with their Thali Affair and Executive Indian Lunch offerings at the Alhambra Indian Restaurant from 15 to 17 August from 12 noon to 3 p.m., specially crafted to make this day even more memorable.

The Thali Affair

Non-vegetarian enthusiasts can savour the divine flavours of Murgh Makhani, a chicken curry infused with a tantalising mix of cashew, tomato, and honey, or the sumptuous Machchi Methi Bahar, a fish delicacy made in a thick and spicy almond and cashew masala gravy, for Rs. 2,400 nett per person. Each Thali is complemented with a refreshing complimentary lassi.

The Executive Indian Lunch

For those seeking a quick and flavoursome lunch option, their Indian Express dish is the perfect choice. Ideal for a swift luncheon meeting or a quick bite on the go, this promotion offers two enticing options. The vegetarian selection includes Dal Tadke Wali, a ghee-flavoured yellow lentil curry with green chili, and Kadai Bhindi, fried ladies’ fingers curry with aromatic spices, all for just Rs. 1,750 nett per person. Non-vegetarians can savour the delectable Murgh Balti Wala, an authentic village-style chicken prepared in a tomato and onion masala gravy, or the tantalising Jaisalmeri, a fish curry flavoured with Jaisalmer-style spicy chickpea gravy, priced at Rs. 2,150 nett per person. To complete the experience, each Executive Indian Lunch is served with a soothing Tamatar Ka Shorba (tomato soup) infused with Indian spices, accompanied by a choice of Roti or Rice and Ice Cream.
