SuperServ — Sri Lanka’s leading corporate foodservice solutions provider and Commercial Bank recently announced a partnership to deliver a cashless payment system for simplicity, convenience and a seamless payment experience.
SuperServ is one of the leading industrial catering companies, with over 100,000 meals served daily in over 45 customer locations island-wide.
“To stay competitive in today’s new normal, organisations need to be able to cater to different needs and demands as well as to different demographics that are growing even more diverse,” SuperServ Managing Director Channa De Silva said.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many consumers to spurn cash and rely more heavily on credit cards and other non-cash payment methods. The spike can be attributed to changes in consumer behaviours, including more online shopping, touch-free payments and no-contact deliveries.
Through the introduction of this new technology, SuperServ customers can make payments by a click of a button. All they have to do is scan the QR and enter the amount and the PIN or tap their contactless credit or debit cards. Payments are processed fast and secure.
“Consumers are driving the cashless engagement and we are currently seeing a widespread change due to the pandemic in their behaviour propelling the desire and demand for a cashless society forward,” he said.
SuperServ Director Achintha Jayasinghe said they are excited to partner with Commercial Bank to deliver this cutting-edge solution to their customers in the corporate foodservice sector. “As the leader in the market, we are always looking for ways to add value to our offerings and deliver a more unique customer experience,” he added.
With its inception in 1993, SuperServ has passionately focused on providing outstanding culinary excellence, impeccable service and sustainable business solutions to create impeccable value as the preferred corporate food service solutions provider for many elite corporates in Sri Lanka.
