Seasonal Staycations

Mövenpick has curated a variety of room offers for guests, turning the festive season into an idyllic escape, gift wrapped in luxurious comfort, and intricate gastronomic cuisine. 

Guests can celebrate the joy of life, love, family and friends in the Executive and Presidential Suites and an array of stunning rooms, with unbeatable offers. 

The Presidential Suite is a haven of celebration, with a maximum capacity of six persons. The Suite is the epitome of extravagance and comfort, with a Bang & Olufsen Audio System, coffee maker, Baby Grand Piano, three bedrooms, a living room and dining room. 

The Executive Suite boasts a stunning interior with two bedrooms and space to relax and celebrate in. The Junior Suites are appointed with their own bathtubs in the rooms overlooking the Indian Ocean. Guests can choose to enjoy a delightful breakfast in bed, or foray into the expansive Sunrise Breakfast Buffet at Ayu. Room rates start at Rs. 20,000 nett.

Festive Celebrations at AYU

The F&B offerings planned by the Culinary Team spearheaded by Chef Priyantha will captivate the most discerning diners in Colombo. The Hotel’s International Restaurant Ayu will feature Live Music and extensive festive meals. 

Christmas Eve Dinner is priced at Rs. 9,500 nett per person and Rs. 5,500 per child under 12. Christmas Day Brunch is priced at Rs. 9,500, with kids under 12 at Rs. 5,500. Christmas Dinner is priced at Rs. 8,500, with kids under 12 at Rs. 4,900 nett.

At Dazzle & Dine, New Year’s Eve Dinner Buffet, revelers can say goodbye to 2022 and usher in 2023 with a festive spread of international cuisine. This spectacular New Year’s Eve dining experience with live entertainment and an electric atmosphere is priced at Rs. 12,500 and Rs. 7,500 for kids under 12.

To start off the first day of the New Year with relish, an exciting “Welcome 2023” Breakfast and Lunch Buffet awaits guests on January 1st with a choice of a luxurious international Breakfast Buffet or splendid Lunch Buffet. The International Breakfast Buffet is priced at LKR 3,850 nett per person from 6am-10am. The truly extravagant Lunch Buffet is priced at LKR 7,000 nett per person from 12.30pm-3.30pm.

Santa’s Shop

Santa’s Shop at the Lobby Lounge is definitely worth a visit, along with the gingerbread hut. Guests can select from a ravishing assortment of enchanting Christmas goodies prepared under the expertise of our celebrated Pastry Chef, Chef Namal. From Christmas cakes, cookies, sweets & savouries the shop will fulfill all Christmas delicacy needs, from 10-28 December, 10am-9pm.

Christmas Cheer Hampers

The Mövenpick Festive High Tea Buffet presents a magical spread of decadent seasonal treats. Merrymakers can delight in a luxurious spread of sweets, savouries, canapés, teas and coffees.

The Unlimited Japanese New Year’s Eve Dinner at Robata allows guests to choose between an unlimited Japanese All-you-can-eat Dinner Menu meticulously curated by Chef Heenkenda or a fiery Teppanyaki experience for an unforgettable NYE Celebration. 

The Japanese All-you-can-eat Set Menu is priced at Rs. 8,000 nett per person while the Teppanyaki experience is available at Rs. 30,000 nett per couple from 7pm-12am. 

New Year’s Eve 2022-Party at Vistas

The New Year’s Eve Party at Vistas, Mövenpick’s trademark Rooftop Bar & Lounge, will be set amidst the views of the Indian Ocean and the city of Colombo with a bird’s eye view of the fireworks. 

New Year’s Celebrants can dance into 2023 with the band Luminosity and delight in a spectacular rooftop Breakfast Buffet! Entrance is priced at Rs. 5,000 nett per person.
