Sri Lanka’s premier coffee house chain – Barista Lavazza, launched its exciting summer menu across all its locations recently. Inspired by the famous canal-city of Venice, the new menu offers a selection of chilled frappes, lemonades, mojitos and brews, as well as a delectable array of scrumptious snacks – all themed to reflect the many flavours of the famous port city.

Titled ‘Vibrante Venezia’, the new menu takes patrons and ‘foodies’ on a colourful journey around the famous city with no less than 10 new beverage additions and six exciting snacks. Customers can now sample a taste of Venice from the flavourful smoked chicken Ciabatta or grilled chicken Focaccia, tuna on brown bread or cheese and tomato on spicy herbed bread for the health conscious, as well as chicken Tikka on brown bread and pepper chicken on spicy herbed bread for those with a yen for something hotter!

Coffee-holics and patrons who want to beat the summer heat can sample from a selection of mouth-watering frappes including mango cardamom, strawberry, coffee and mocha, while lemonade brews in flavours of kiwi, mango and mango cardamom are sure to please.

A brand new menu item this time around are the signature mojitos; mango, water melon and kiwi – all non-alcoholic. And Barista also has something for tea lovers with its fabulous new mango cardamom iced tea.

As always, die-hard Barista Lavazza patrons can still enjoy their favourite coffee, made to order and the regular snack and meal menu. Together with free Wi-Fi, an absolutely laid back and cosy atmosphere, Barista Lavazza is the place to hang out, chill or meet for a quick brunch or business meeting in and around Colombo.

With several locations conveniently located at Rajagiriya, Horton Place, World Trade Centre, Laksala (Thunmulla), Bambalapitiya, R. A. de Mel Mawatha and Gandhara, as well as the International Airport at Katunayake, your favourite brew and snacks are close at hand.
