Burger King opens latest outlet at Bandaranaike International Airport

International fast food giant Burger King has opened its latest restaurant at the Departure Hall of the Bandaranaike International Airport, providing a much-needed boost to the airport’s dining options. With friendly, casual surroundings and great tasting food, customers can now enjoy Burger King’s world famous flame grilled burgers while they are waiting for their flights. The restaurant will be open 24 hours a day in time for passengers flying out on the first flight of the day, and will stay open until the very last flight creating a dining experience for travellers featuring recognisable fast food favourites at affordable prices.
Burger King is managed exclusively by master franchisee Softlogic Restaurants Ltd; a subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings PLC, and has received a positive response from customers in Sri Lanka with a total of six restaurants including branches in Arcade Independence Square, Mount Lavinia, Rajagiriya, Colpetty, Kandy City Centre, and The Central Hospital Food Court being opened since its successful entry into the local market in late 2013.
