Café M opens its doors in Kandy

Café M, the newest brand launched by Mahaweli Reach, opened its doors at No. 492, Sirimavo Bandaranaike Mawatha (Old Peradeniya Road) adjoining the Avenue Clothing Store, in close proximity to American National College, bringing the coffee house trend to Kandy.   



This new venue creates a relaxed ambience within its busy environs and introduces a range of indulgence for the coffee aficionados of the hill capital such as the Cappuccino, Latté, Espresso and Macciato and Kopi with a twist such as the Double choc or Mocha caramel Frappé, Hazel nut and Chocolate Frappé, Affogato and Iced Latté. For those looking for their sugar fix there are milk shakes, juices and Iced Chocolate and of course for everyone, the staple Sri Lankan drink, Ceylon tea, served hot or cold. A selection of sweet and savoury treats including Irish mousse cake, strawberry baked cheesecake, chocolate brownies, blueberry, chocolate or ginger muffins, raisin, coffee or molten chocolate cupcakes, mushroom and cheese buns, chicken ham dogs and many more varieties are also on offer.   

Whether it’s for a casual meeting among friends, to quench your thirst or for a quick snack, Café M is the ideal venue with its easy access and parking facilities and its close proximity to one of the busiest parts of town. It is opened till late, seven days a week and offers its extensive range of food and beverages at reasonable prices.   

Mahaweli Reach Managing Director Jayantha Panabokke stated at its opening, that this new concept of a coffee house which is being introduced to Kandy for the first time is to be the first of several outlets in and around Kandy which will offer greater variety to the consumers.   

Mahaweli Reach has also opened its latest Press and Wear laundry collection outlet within its premises for the convenience of the public in the Peradeniya area, who can now enjoy the ability to just step in and drop off or collect their laundry, hassle free.
